JD-Contractor A/S has extensive experience worldwide in power cable lay, and can provide the project management and engineering support for such subsea installations. We have a long track record for installing cables from 10 kV to 400 kV, single core, flat-type and three-core cables, XLPE, MI and oil filled cables.
Over the years we have repeatedly installed cables that at the time of installation were the largest subsea cable in the world. Among other the 400 kV three core cable from ABB in Lillebælt and the flat type cable installed in Emshaven on the Norned project.
We have a fleet of flexible vessels able to work in both offshore and shallow water conditions and is committed to handle both small and large-scale projects as a subcontractor as well as a main contractor.
