JD-Contractor A / S was responsible for the overall installation, but the cable, the directional drilling at both landings and the winch and personnel ashore were delivered by the customer Energinet.dk.
JD-Contractor A/S was also contracted by Energinet.dk to embed the installed cable into the seabed.
Overall, the installation of the 72 kV HVAC sub-sea cable connections between Jutland and Læsø was carried out with satisfaction. The work progressed according to plan, and despite several changes in the project, there were no major delays in the work and the cable was installed in time.
