JD-Contractor A/S is permanently based in three different locations in Denmark. From these locations, we carry out our assignments both locally and worldwide.

In Holstebro, you will find our main base; this is where the administration office is. This is where we have several workshops; including an electronics workshop, a survey workshop, an IT and film production facility, a diving & ROV equipment workshop equipped with a 3.000 litre freshwater tank for testing and service, a painters workshop, a mechanics workshop as well as a smithy and machine workshop. Furthermore, we have several equipment warehouses and it is home to the company’s large scale ROVs and the company vehicle park.
Because of our different base locations we are extremely flexible and can equip our fleet for various needs both long-term projects as well as quick emergencies that require immediate reaction.

In Kalundborg, you will find our Eastern Fleet base; this is where some of our vessels will be when not at sea working. This is also, where we have built two new warehouses building fully equipped with more workshops, storage facilities for subsea cables for some of our clients, storage of heavy machinery as well as offices, conference rooms, classrooms and kitchen facilities.

In Thyborøn, you will find our Western Fleet base; this is where some of our vessels will be when not at sea working. This is also, where we have taken over and refurbished a warehouse building fully equipped with ROV workshops, storage facilities for our ROVs and PLGR equipment, storage of heavy machinery as well as offices, conference rooms, classrooms and kitchen facilities.
